JCD planned event
JCD held a lecture by "Chon-mage Captain Tsun-san," who has been volunteering all over Japan since the Fukushima earthquake, on his volunteer work in disaster-stricken areas, and a screening of the film MARCH. His involvement with the JBSD included a lecture (via Zoom) on relief efforts following the Kumamoto Kuma River flooding that occurred in July 2020, and donations were raised and distributed to the affected areas.
Since then, Kumamoto has recently experienced another flood, and Tsun-san has also volunteered in the Noto earthquake and flooding. The lecture also covered the current situation in each disaster-stricken area.
We also went to see the soccer match between the Japan and US national teams in Columbus, Ohio (although Japan was completely defeated).
